A smallholding in South West Wales

GLYNELWYN

Home to Faithmead Yarns:-

Rare Breed and Longwool Sheep, Anglo-Nubian Goats and Berkshire Pigs

and also to  Faithmead Yarns  made with wool from our own flocks

Glynelwyn Smallholding

Glynelwyn is set in a quiet rural location midway between Carmarthen and Cardigan and close to the Pembrokeshire border with views of the Preseli Hills. This is our 'retirement' from stressful employment and the place to which we have relocated our smallholding from West Sussex.

We have so far been producing rare breed pork from registered Gloucester Old Spot and Berkshire pigs as well as lamb on a smaller scale. We have also relocated our chickens, geese and horses, as well as our working collie, 'Tash', and our collie x labrador, 'Holly'.

Our aim is to expand on the production of both pork and lamb, as well as producing our own vegetables and fruit. In fact to be as self sufficient as possible in feeding ourselves!
